Med-I-Class GmbH is specialized in medical informatics, clinical documentation, medical classification, health care statistics, epidemiology and hospital management.
The company provides management software for hospitals, clinical documentation and reimbursement (DRG-Grouper). Med-I-Class provides training programmes for hospital management, medical coders and statisticians. Several German University hospitals and other hospitals, insurance companies and organizations are clients of Med-I-Class.
Director
The managing director Dr. Rolf Bartkowski is a medical doctor, specialized in general and visceral surgery, orthopaedic surgery and surgical oncology. He worked several years at the German Cancer Research Centre (DKFZ), the University Hospital of Heidelberg and Göttingen. He is a consultant of the German Ministry of Health, the German Society of Surgery and the Swiss Surgical Societies.
He is co-responsible for the German edition of medical classification (ICD-10, OPS / ICPM / CHOP).
